Blueberry benefits
Blueberry fruit is not only an excellent snack, but also health and youth in their natural form.

Health and youth in their natural form
The berries are juicy, vinous, aromatic and sweet, and at the same time they are low in calories. They are rich in vitamins, calcium, phosphorus and folic acid.
Eating blueberries protects against cancer, civilization diseases and arteriosclerosis. Anthocyanins responsible for their color improve microcirculation in the eyeballs, thus positively influencing the quality of vision.
Blueberry production process

Spring
Each spring begins with maintenance work on our plantations. These include: pruning shrubs (cutting old shoots), sprinkling with forest chips and peat, weeding, feeding the shrubs.
In spring, new plantings of shrubs are also taking place (depending on the needs).
Then, around May, flower buds appear. For proper pollination of flowers and fruit setting, the presence of pollinating insects on plantations is essential.
Therefore, bees and bumblebees are being introduced into the cultivation, which ensure optimal pollination of the blueberries, even in unfavorable weather conditions.

Summer
When our efforts are rewarded and the blueberries are sufficiently ripe, we can start harvesting. The harvest date depends on many factors - on average, it falls about 2.5 months after the flowering period.
The gradual berries ripening begins in early July. Harvest begins when fully colored berries appear on the shrubs. We leave green, pink and burgundy until the next harvest.
In order not to lose their quality, the harvested fruit is sent to a cold store within a maximum of half an hour after picking, to the rapid cooling chambers at a temperature of 2-4o C. After cooling, the fruit goes to the sorting facility, where it is being sorted, weighed and packaged according to customer specifications. Packaged and checked in terms of quality, the product is loaded on trucks (refrigerated trailers) and often travels thousands of kilometers to reach the recipient.Time of work Type of work- June Weeding, shrub fertilizing, irrigation

After the end of the harvest season (in October), further maintenance works begin: pruning, weeding, and if necessary, new shrubs are being planted or old plantings are being replaced with new ones.
